Turkish Airlines is offering a generous transfer bonus this month, giving a 40% boost when transferring in Citi ThankYou Rewards.

Quick Thoughts
A 40% transfer bonus is an excellent offer, albeit not quite as high as past 50% transfer bonuses we’ve seen from Citi and Rove to Turkish. It does, however, help go a long way towards negating the devaluation we saw late last year when redeeming Miles&Smiles for domestic United award flights.
With a limit of 50,000 bonus miles, you’ll max out this promotion when transferring 125,000 Citi ThankYou points. Do note though that the bonus miles won’t be awarded until September 1 at the very earliest, so you won’t have immediate access to those additional miles. That’s because the transfer bonus is being offered on Turkish’s end, so you won’t see the 40% bonus being displayed when logging in to your Citi ThankYou account.
