Update 6/24/26: Some of these brands have now sold out, but others that had previously sold out are now back in a different incarnation.
For example, yesterday you could buy physical $100 Amtrak gift cards for 15% off. Those are no longer discounted, but $50 physical and $100 digital Amtrak gift cards can be had at the same 15% discount today.
Amazon sometimes adds additional brands throughout the day, so it can be worth checking later on in case other brands that are of interest appear later on.

Amazon Prime Day kicked off today and is running through Friday. As always, it’s offering a 15%-20% discount on a wide range of gift card brands. While the selection isn’t quite as lucrative as some previous years, you can still get a good discount on gift cards for brands including Hotels.com, Amtrak, Uber, DoorDash, Lowe’s, Starbucks, Walgreens, PetSmart, and more.

There are some decent deals here. Saving 20% on Hotels.com gift cards is always welcome, while Amtrak gift cards don’t often go on sale for 15% off.
Be aware that you’ll need to have an Amazon Prime membership to take advantage of these deals. It’s often possible to get a 30 day free trial of Prime—even if you’ve had it in the past—so be sure to check your account in case you’re targeted for that offer. That’ll enable you to buy these discounted gift cards, along with any other Prime Day deals you’re interested in, before cancelling the subscription before you have to start paying for it next month.

Most are physical gift cards, but some are egift cards. If you do a search for Amtrak gift cards, you should see a $100 physical card for $85 still available.
