Capital One offering referral bonus of 100K miles or $2,000 cashback for some cardholders

Doctor of Credit reports that some Capital One business cardholders are being provided with some incredibly rewarding referral bonuses.

Some cardholders are seeing a referral bonus of 100,000 bonus miles per referral which is capped at 500,000 bonus miles, while others are seeing a referral bonus of $2,000 cashback.

These referral offers are, sadly, targeted, so there’s no guarantee that you’ll see a referral bonus that’s quite as high as these. Needless to say, if you have any Capital One business credit cards then it’s definitely worth checking to see if you have any of these elevated referral bonuses or something similar. For those who are targeted, in many cases the referral bonus will be the same as—or higher than—the actual welcome bonus that the new cardholder will receive.

Something to bear in mind before you get too excited is that Capital One doesn’t award referral bonuses if the person/business you’re referring already has any Capital One cards.

Stephen- if you refer a business owner (P2) who does have a personal Capital One card, but no Capital One business cards, will you get the referral bonus?

Scott

The T&C says “Businesses you refer must be new Capital One Business credit or charge card customers and cannot already have any Capital One Business credit or charge card accounts.

Based on that language, it seems that it would pay out
