Check for great Capital One Travel offers

Capital One Travel is out with some great targeted offers for select cardholders, including offers like 20x points up to 50,000 points and $200 off a Lifestyle Collection vacation rental. I’m not sure how widely available these offers will be, but it’s worth periodically checking your Capital One Travel account for offers, as they change from time to time and can sometimes be quite valuable.

The Deal

• Capital One Travel has some great targeted offers out for select cardholders. Offers we have seen in my household include:
  • 20X miles up to 50K miles on your first hotel, vacation rental, car, or activity booking through July 28, 2026 (found on my Venture account)
  • $200 off Lifestyle Collection vacation rentals through June 30, 2026 (found on my Venture account)
  • 20% off up to $200 on Premier and Lifestyle Collection vacation rentals through June 30, 2026 (found on my wife’s Venture X account)

Key Terms

20X miles up to 50K

• This is a limited-time offer that will provide eligible customers the opportunity to earn a one-time bonus of 20X miles, up to a maximum of 50,000 miles, on a hotel, vacation rental, rental car or activity booking made via Capital One Travel during the offer period (only applicable for payments made via Capital One Travel and including taxes and fees). If booking a package, only the hotel portion of the package booking will qualify for this offer. For this booking, customers will earn 20X miles per dollar on their booking, instead of their standard rewards earn rate, up until the total earn equals 50,000 miles. After reaching a total of 50,000 miles, customers will earn their standard rewards earn rate on the remaining portion of the purchase. This offer is only available until July 28, 2026, or while supplies last and for one booking per account. Travel flights and pay at stay are excluded. $200 off Lifestyle Collection Vacation Rental

• This is a limited offer that will provide eligible customers a discount of $200 off on an eligible vacation rental reservation made via Capital One Travel during the offer period. This offer will only be available until the earlier of (i) June 30, 2026, or (ii) while supplies last; and the offer is only available for the primary cardholder and there may only be one booking per account. Rewards earnings will apply to net purchases (purchases minus any credits or cancellations) only. Rewards will not be earned on any travel credits used for the purchase. Quick Thoughts

Several months ago, I was targeted for 20X Capital One miles on my first Capital One Travel booking with my Capital One Venture card. I don’t have a Venture X card, but rather only have an old Venture card and a VentureOne card, and thus I had not been using the Capital One Travel portal to make travel bookings through my account. I didn’t use that offer before it expired in April, but in May I was targeted anew for 20 miles per dollar spent on my first hotel, rental car, or vacation rental booking through Capital One Travel by July 28, 2026.

Last night, I used the offer for a car rental booking. It clearly showed during the booking flow that the booking was eligible for 20x miles. In my case, this is a one-way rental where there is an additional fee due at the rental desk. The details noted that I would only earn the bonus miles on the “Pay now” portion.

Surprisingly, even though I only made the booking last night, the bonus miles have already appeared in my account. It was a little confusing at first: My Venture card ordinarily earns five miles per dollar on travel, Capital One travel, so this offer effectively adds an additional 15X miles. That additional 15X has already posted to my account. I expect that the other 5X will post within a few days.

Anecdotally, I was surprised that Capital One Travel beat Costco Travel and the various options I saw through AutoSlash for this specific rental. Earning 20x miles on top of getting the best price made for a great deal in this case (though I was a little disappointed not to have a more expensive booking to make in order to maximize the offer’s potential).

I also noticed an offer for $200 off a Lifestyle Collection vacation rental booking, which seems like it could be really good since there was no minimum spend mentioned. However, I haven’t yet found a qualifying property, so I’m not sure how useful it will be in practice.
