Citi Travel promo: Get $75 off $400+ hotel stay, stack with other hotel credits

A couple of months ago, Citi celebrated the third birthday of Citi Travel with an offer giving a discount of $50 when booking a $300+ hotel stay.

There’s a new offer that’s similar, but it offers an even better discount of $75, albeit with a higher spending requirement of $400.

The Deal

• Spend $400+ on a hotel booking with Citi Travel & get $75 off instantly.

Key Terms

• Reservations must be made by the primary cardmember but can be made for the benefit and in the name of either the primary cardmember or another person.
• Reservations made through any party or channel other than Citi Travel or 1 833 737 1288 (TTY: 711) are not eligible for the $75 off a single hotel stay promotion.
• The $75 off a single hotel stay promotion will not be applied to any existing bookings made before 07/07/2026.
• The $75 off hotel stay promotion will be applied to a single eligible hotel booking made between 07/07/2026 to 08/07/2026.
• This is a one-time promotional offer. If the reservation is cancelled, the one-time hotel stay promotion is not available to be used again.
• There is no minimum hotel nights requirement to receive the promotion.
• To receive the $75 discount, you must pre-pay for your complete stay.
• This offer is available only for the recipient of this banner, is non-transferable, and can only be used for the card you selected when you received this offer.
• The $75 off a single hotel stay promotion will be automatically applied at the time of booking.

Quick Thoughts

The terms state that this offer is for the recipient of the banner, so hopefully it’s a widely targeted offer.

One of the best parts of this discount is that it stacks with any other eligible Citi Travel credits you might have. For example, my wife has this offer on her Citi Strata Premier℠ card; one of that card’s benefits is a $100 discount when spending $500+ on a hotel booking made through Citi Travel. When booking a $500+ hotel stay, both that $100 discount and the $75 discount from this limited time promotion are deducted from the total cost. Seeing as the offer is available on her Strata Premier card, she’d also earn 10X ThankYou points on the balance.

The same is true of the Citi Strata Elite℠ card. That card has a $300 hotel credit each calendar year on a stay of two nights or more when booking through Citi Travel. Booking a stay of two nights or more costing $400+ would get you a $300 discount from the Strata Elite card as well as the $75 discount from this new promotion (assuming your Strata Elite card is targeted).

Note that even though you have to book your stay by August 7, 2026, the stay doesn’t have to actually be completed by then—it can be for any hotel stay through the end of the booking calendar.
