My wife has the Chase Sapphire Preferred card and I am an authorized user. Now, I want to apply for the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card for myself. Is being an authorized user on the card you want to apply for have any consequences?

What would be the best cards to be an authorized user on? We need to build our teenagers credit, and I think this would be a great way to do so.

There are often situations where there is a bonus offer for adding an authorized user who meets a minimum spend requirement of maybe 4 or 5 or $8000 for a reasonably large welcome bonus.
They were times when I was able to add myself up to 99 times as an authorized user and I actually accepted one of those offers for 25 cards which all meet the minimum spend and were then sock drawer-ed! Never once had any 5/24 issues from that….
My request would be for you guys to feed these transcripts into an AI tool and put them in an article form. I’d much rather skim than watch a video most of the time. Just a thought!
