There are many things to love about Hyatt, but shopping portal rewards have not traditionally been among them. Major hotel brands like Marriott, Hilton, and IHG consistently appear on many shopping portals, sometimes offering 20%+ back on hotel stays. However, outside of a confined geographic area (like Hyatt India) or points sales, stacking portal rewards with Hyatt stays has been difficult.
However, Hyatt is again appearing on Capital One Shopping at a consistent 2x back, and some of us have been getting targeted offers that are even much better. Now, in even better news, Hyatt is live again on TopCashback at a whopping 10.1% back for all properties in the Americas. The offer is valid for this weekend only.

Quick Thoughts
Seeing Hyatt back on TopCashback is a surprise, let alone at 10% back. This is a temporary rate that is only around for this weekend. However, if Hyatt sticks around on portals, even with single-digit cashback offers, it will be a welcome change for those with paid Hyatt stays.
Note that hotels in Europe, Africa, the Middle East (EMEA), and Asia-Pacific (ASPAC) are excluded from cashback, so it’s effectively valid for the Americas only.

Rakuten has been giving me the option of 2x back on Hyatt the past two days. Is it a glitch?
Nope, Hyatt is back on several portals. That said, if you’re making bookings now, I’d take 10% cash back over 2x Rakuten if I were you.
Good luck getting TopCashback to actually credit and pay out.
Have you had issues with TCB? Along with Rakuten, they’ve been by far the most reliable of all of the portals for me.

“Cash Back earned cannot exceed the total purchase amount.” How can 10% of anything be more than 100% of the same thing?
