IHG promo: Earn 10K bonus points for every 2 nights spent at its Ruby Hotels brand

If you’ve been interested in checking out IHG’s (somewhat) recently acquired brand Ruby Hotels, now could be a great time to do that. That’s because there’s a new promotion that’s awarding 10,000 bonus points for every two nights you spend at Ruby Hotels properties through early November.

IHG One Rewards promo 10K bonus points Ruby Hotels every 2 nights

The Deal

Key Terms

  • To participate in the ‘10,000 Points Every 2 Nights’ Promotion (the ‘Promotion’), an individual must have an active, valid IHG One Rewards member account, and must register for the Promotion.
  • Members can pre-register for this Promotion starting 9 July 2026 until 23 July 2026 (the ‘Pre-Registration Period’). Members will be able to stay and earn IHG One Rewards bonus points under this Promotion beginning on 24 July 2026 and ending on 4 November 2026 (the ‘Promotion Period’).
  • Members who did not register during the Pre-Registration Period may register for the Promotion during the Promotion Period.
  • After registering for the Promotion, a member can earn 10,000 bonus points for every two (2) qualifying room night stays at participating Ruby Hotels during the Promotion Period. This offer is only available for the listed brand above.
  • The time needed for awarding points can vary with each promotion, so please allow up to six (6) weeks for any earned bonus points to be posted to the recipient’s account.
  • To be a qualifying room night under the Promotion, the room night must fall within the Promotion Period and must be part of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay. As stated, the “Promotion Period” is from 24 July 2026 through 4 November 2026. Room nights outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Promotion also are not included.
  • For purposes of this Promotion, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum one (1) night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, that is at least a total spend of US $30 (or local currency equivalent) per night.
  • Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Promotion.
  • Bookings made through on-line travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this Promotion. (For additional details on Qualifying Rates, please see the full IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions.)
  • If more than one member who registered for the Promotion checks into the same room, only one member is eligible to earn points under the Promotion for those nights that qualify. If a member books more than one room on the same night, the member will receive credit towards this Promotion for only one of the rooms that also meets the requirements of a qualifying room night under the Promotion.

Quick Thoughts

There are currently 21 Ruby Hotels properties, all of them in Europe. They can be found in the following countries:

  • Austria
  • Germany
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Netherlands
  • Switzerland
  • UK

I’ve not had a chance to stay at any Ruby Hotels yet, but I’m definitely interested as they look like beautiful, stylish properties. Earning 10,000 bonus points for every two nights you stay is a decent incentive, especially because it’ll stack with this separate promotion if you stay by the end of August.

Do be aware that this promotion is only valid on paid stays, not award stays or stays booked with Points + Cash.

Head for Points has also pointed out that there are a few nuances to how stays at Ruby Hotels work with regards to the wider IHG One Rewards program. If you have elite status you’re not eligible for a room upgrade, you can’t redeem Confirmable Suite Upgrade awards earned as part of IHG’s Milestone Rewards, and members with Diamond status aren’t eligible for complimentary breakfast. All that is disappointing considering that IHG actually purchased Ruby Hotels, rather than them simply striking up some kind of partnership.
