(EXPIRED) Leading Hotels of the World promo: Earn 2X points on stays at select properties (Book by 6/30/26, stay by 9/21/26)

Leading Hotels of the World is currently offering double points when booking stays at properties in its Explore Collection. You have to book by the end of June, but it’s valid on stays through September 21, 2026.

Key Terms

• You will earn one (1) additional Leaders Club point (“Double Points”) for every USD 1 or currency equivalent you spend on the room rate for a Qualifying Stay, as defined in the Leaders Club Terms & Conditions, at one of the 80+ hotels featured in the book Explore: The Leading Hotels of the World.
• Bookings must be made between June 23, 2026 and June 30, 2026 (“Booking Window”) and completed and checked out between June 24, 2026 and September 21, 2026 (“Promotion Period”).
• Your Leaders Club account must be activated and linked to the booking prior to your arrival to earn Double Points for your stay. Double Points will only be awarded for one eligible booking per member, up to a maximum of 10,000 Double Points during the Promotion Period.
• Room nights booked outside the Booking Window or consumed prior to or after the Promotion Period will not be eligible for Double Points under the Promotion.

Quick Thoughts

You ordinarily earn 1 Leaders Club point per dollar spent on stays, so this promotion doubles that to—you guessed it—2 points per dollar. That might not sound very generous, but Leaders Club points are worth ~8 cents per point. That means this promotion is earning you ~16% worth of points which isn’t too shabby considering it’s only a 2X promo.

Be aware that not all Leading Hotels of the World properties are eligible for this promotion; only the 80+ hotels that are part of LHW’s The Explore Collection.

There’s a targeted Leading Hotels of the World Amex Offer that’s awarding 15K bonus Membership Rewards points when spending $700, so that would make your stay even more rewarding

You might also find some of the eligible properties on Amex’s Fine Hotels + Resorts® (FHR) list if you were looking to use up any of your American Express Platinum Card® and/or Business Platinum Card® hotel credits before the end of June. If so, those stays will hopefully be eligible to earn the 2X points if you enter your Leaders Club number when making a reservation. If an FHR booking doesn’t show up on your Leaders Club account after booking, provide your account number when checking in.
