Marriott Homes & Villas Amex Offer: Spend $1K and get $350 back

2

There’s a new Marriott Homes & Villas Amex Offer out, which gives $350 back when you spend $1,000 or more on one or more reservations.

The Deal

    • Spend $1,000+ in one or more transactions with Marriott Homes & Villas and get $350 back with an Amex Offer.
      • Expires 9/30/26

Key Terms

  • Offer valid at participating Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy® properties in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.
  • Reservations for Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy® properties must be made online at homesandvillasbymarriott.com. Excludes all other Marriott brands.
  • Not valid on gift card purchases, online retail purchases, hotel amenities or purchases of Marriott Bonvoy® points.
  • Qualifying purchases must total a minimum of $1,000 USD, following conversion from a foreign currency.
  • Offer not valid for stays that are paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date (for example, if the final payment that occurs 30 days before your stay falls outside of the promotion dates, it will not count towards qualification).

Quick Thoughts

This offer provides some excellent savings if you’ve been considering a Homes & Villas stay. Even if you hadn’t been looking at one previously, it could be worth checking out your options if you need to book any paid accommodation for the coming year, as the $350 statement credit could more than offset any additional cost of booking through this platform.

You can usually pay 50% down on Marriott Homes & Villas, then pay the remaining 50% closer to the stay. In that case, you might be able to pay $1,000+ now to use the Amex Offer on one card, then pay the remaining $1,000+ on another card with the Amex Offer loaded to it to earn two sets of $350 statement credits, provided that the timing works out

Marriott Homes & Villas frequently runs promotions giving bonus points on stays, which will stack nicely with the savings from this Amex Offer. For example, some folks are targeted for $300 back in rewards from Capital One Shopping when they spend $650 or more, and there’s another promo that gives you 10% off a 2+ night stay. Stacking those with this Amex Offer could create some terrific rates on vacation rentals.

Don’t forget to click through from a shopping portal before making your reservation(s). You can find the current rates here, here, and here.

It’s my first time booking a vacation rental and have the offers. I was promoted for 50% but how do I update my card for the second payment.

John

Alternative to the $2000 booking in your example, I assume a $1000 booking with $500 now and $500 closer to the check-in date would also work, assuming the total for both payments is at least $1000 and the second payment happens before the offer expires. Do you agree with my interpretation of the terms?
