(Update: More credits posting) Paze credits posted on some accounts, not posted on others

Update 7/14/26: Many more—or possibly all—cardholders are now seeing these credits posting to their cards. If you’d had eligible transactions from last month that still haven’t had their credits post, I (Stephen) wouldn’t sweat it for now. The FAQs for the promotion state that you’ll typically receive the credit(s) within two billing cycles, so even if you’re not seeing the $10 credits hit your account yet, I imagine they’ll show up in the coming weeks.

A couple of days ago, Doctor of Credit reported that statement credits are starting to show up for Paze transactions based on the $10 back on a purchase of $10 or more promotion that launched last week. Many folks made purchases within the first couple of days in order to maximize the offer. Some folks have reported receiving all of their statement credits. Others, myself included, have only received them on some cards.

As a reminder, the gist of the promotion was to get $10 back on a purchase of $10 or more, up to $100 on each of your eligible credit cards when you check out at a merchant using Paze. Paze is an online wallet system similar to PayPal, but developed by Early Warning Services, the same company behind Zelle. Most major bank Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards are eligible.

I made quite a few $10 purchases at Newegg and Dunkin last week. I’ve received almost all of the statement credits on the two different Capital One cards that I used. However, I haven’t received any statement credits on a Bank of America credit card that I used, nor has my wife received any statement credits on the Chase cards that she used. Others have reported receiving credits already from Chase, Bank of America, Capital One, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, and Citi cards, so your mileage may vary.

Reports indicate that Chase is processing the credits as a refund, which means that they are clawing back the base points earned on the transaction. I don’t believe that affects the additional 10 bonus points per dollar available on some cards. My Capital One credits did not affect reward earnings. That is to say, I still earned the two miles per dollar on the associated purchases, though obviously the return there is quite small on $10 purchases.

The promotion terms indicated that it could take one to two months to receive statement credits, so I’m not very concerned, even though we have a few cards that have not yet received any statement credits at all. I assume there was quite a backlog of transactions to credit, and I expect the promotion to be honored. I still have the $10 back on $10 or more banner in my Paze account, so I don’t anticipate any issues. I did notice that there was a lag time between when purchases from Newegg were credited versus when purchases from Dunkin were credited in my Capital One accounts, but I’m sure that will vary by issuer, card, and the chance of circumstance.

Note that it is no longer possible to check out via Paze with $10 gift cards from Newegg. The same angle is also dead via Clover.

Overall, this will continue to go down as probably the deal of the year for many folks who were able to maximize those $10 purchases while it was still possible to check out at Newegg with gift cards.

Received $10 PAZE credit x3 using my CSP on StubHub stacked through Rakuten (took a couple weeks to post). I also got the 10x multiplier for Chase points for all 3 transactions, all of them – Chase didn’t claw back the $10 portion.

Eric

This is a candidate for deal of the year.

Does this promotion have a deadline?

If see some posts on reddit about this, and I’ve seen on two recent Paze charges on my Chase Sapphire preferred card not showing up as 10x Paze on Sephora, just 1x. At first I thought it was maybe my mistake, but email invoice says paid with Paze. It’s too early tell if I won’t receive the $10 credit as well.

I’m just envious of those who are able to use their Chase cards with Paze at all. I’m still getting the “no eligible cards” error when trying to add eligible Chase cards to Paze. Messages/calls to Chase, but zero help from them. Happy Paze-ing to those who are able to do so. Really bummed to miss the Newegg window.

Same here, I only have the Chase Prime Visa but it won’t show up in my Paze account.

Do you have a joint business and Personal account login? We actually have three different logins (its been a while since I’ve been able to transfer UR to FF/Hotels without a call).

That said if you do try it on both account logins (or seperate Biz/Personal – IIRC you lose the previous online statements – I might be mistaken.

Have you tried adding from Paze rather than from Chase App? (Make sure phone/email match Chase profile)

Also you might try adding cards from Cap1/Citi/BofA/Wells/ etc first – then use the Plaid interface to connect to Chase and login that way.

I was finally able to 10 of our Chase Cards – I wish I could remember exact method that worked – (to excited – out in a bunch of Newegg orders -(crazy thing is Amazon delivered several of them – a little suprised).

Good luck

Got on Chase debit but not CSR and CSP

What tab/panel in the Chase CC account that shows the history of Paze cashbacks? I can’t find it in my accounts anywhere.

Tonei Glavinic

It would appear in your transaction history with all your other purchases and credits

rick b

Ok, so just like regular merchant refund. I’ll check it out. Used one of my flex cards to get an Adobe plan on newegg

John

Not on my Chase OG Freedom Visa

What are other good places to use this promo?

Christine the lawyer

Actual food (not gcs) from clover restaurants + $10-15 stuff @ sephora, but msybe unwritten rule is one per day (or maybe those will pop up at later date on my later statement)

k b

I got my credits back on Citi Strata Premier. It looks like they left the points as well.

rtp

I received them on my IHG card but haven’t received them on my Sapphire Preferred.

Amol

I got them on some Chase cards, but not all. I got them on my Capital One card as well. Overall, I’m OK floating the money until the refund which is just good practice for these types of deals.

Megan

No problems with posting for me on my VentureX or my Citi Strata Elite. I had already spent $1,500 this month on my two Chase cards to get the 10X bonus before the $10 off 10 purchases deal came out so I am waiting to spend on Chase until July. I shall be buying a lot of small things at Sephora.

Jeb

I’ve received the credits on my US Bank Visa card and my Cap1 Mastercard.

Nims Mag

Yep, got all Mastercard credits w/in 5 days. None on Visa yet except for Cap1.

Dav

Credits have been posting on my Mastercards but not Visas so far (rather than the difference being strictly by bank).

I don’t know if that’s a universal pattern.

syn

yes same. have lots bofa visa none posted yet

Kevin

same here. on Chase Freedom Flex, but not on Chase Freedom OG cards.

Josh

Visa debit from BOA and Chase posted but not chase visa credit
