As Doctor of Credit posted this morning, some users are seeing Paze as a payment option for purchases at giftcards.com. However, according to a comment linked in an update at Doctor of Credit, purchases from “gift card merchants” are excluded from some of the recent Paze promotions. While there have been some opportunities to buy gift cards from some participating merchants, giftcards.com certainly sounds like it would fit the definition of a “gift card merchant”. I therefore wouldn’t expect that this one will be eligible to trigger any of the recent promotions.

I’m posting this more as a cautionary note. We don’t yet know for sure one way or another whether purchases from giftcards.com will trigger the recent Paze promotions for additional bonus points on some credit cards or $10 statement credits when spending $10 or more on qualifying cards. However, I don’t see the banner advertising the $10 back on $10+ promotion during the checkout flow when selecting Paze as my payment method, so I think it is more than 50% likely that purchases from giftcards.com will not qualify for those Paze promotions.
While gift card purchases from Newegg last week were widely expected to work for the Paze promotion, based on the appearance of the banner advertising the offer during the checkout flow, my educated guess as to the difference here is that Newegg was not strictly a gift card merchant, and Giftcards.com is.
Further, probably in response to the number of purchases made at Newegg in the middle of last week, the additional bonus point opportunity has been updated to end for Newegg purchases on June 30, 2026. Given the swift response there, it seems likely that giftcards.com would likely be excluded.
For what it’s worth, I only see the option to check out with Paze when adding gift cards to my cart and then going to checkout. If I hit the “Buy Now” button on a gift card, it does not show Paze as a payment method. Also, I don’t see Paze as a payment method when checking out with virtual Visa or MasterCard gift cards, only third-party merchant cards. Your mileage may vary.
It is certainly possible that my assumptions here are incorrect, but I wanted to post those assumptions as a word of warning to proceed with caution.

Newegg has removed Paze for $10 Uber cards for me. Tried mobile/desktop. They do not allow checking out as Guest for these GCs. Multiple Incognito Browers no love.
What still works for me getting $50 Newegg GCs. I use them for bigger purchases so I can at least get multiple $10 credits. For example, a weather station for $110, ends up with $30 credits ($20 from GCs and $10 from remaining balance) plus 1100 Chase points.
I can confirm that this is still working. Although, I wish there was a way to pay for other GCs using Newegg GC.
no Paze option, whether its incognito, or mobile, or desktop browser, safari or chrome.
Same. Seems like not everyone is eligible and who knows why
Im showing (getting) the Paze payment but getting message ‘];We could not locate your payment details; please refresh the page & try again.” – with different credit cards
I don’t see PAZE as an option to pay for gift cards on giftcards.com. I added a few different gift cards (instacart, Sephora) to my shopping cart (NOT clicking buy now) and when I go to the payment method, it only shows the options of PayPal, zip, Klarna, credit or debit card.
Is there something I have to do to make PAZE show up as a payment option?
It’s possible that it just won’t show up for everyone. Out of curiosity, have you tried both mobile and desktop?
Yes. Tried desktop on chrome and iPhone using chrome and safari. None of them show paze as a payment option
Try incognito while not logged in. Try a different browser (Brave worked for me)
I tried all of those options and unfortunately none of them worked for me. Still not showing paze as an option.
The boarding door will be closing soon and will not be reopened.
