A new targeted Amex Offer came out this week that is good for $10 back each month when you spend $200 or more in 1 month between syncing the offer and 12/31/21 (up to 3 times, once each in October, November and December). This would be a great deal if you found the offer on a card offering a good bonus at US supermarkets.
The Deal
- A new Amex Offer is out for $10 back as a one-time monthly statement credit for up to 3 months when you spend $200 or more in any 1 month at US Supermarkets online or in-store
Key Terms
- Expires 12/31/21 (valid one time each in October, November, and December)
- Valid in-store or online at a US-based supermarket
- See offer for full terms
Quick Thoughts
This is a nice little deal to sync up, especially if you have a card on which you’re earning a supermarket bonus. For instance, a family member who opened a Platinum card when the welcome offer included 10x at US Supermarkets (now expired) found this offer on her card. She’ll be using the Platinum card for supermarket purchases anyway, so this is an easy $30 win over the next few months.
This isn’t a huge win, but it should be easy enough for most readers to put a few extra bucks back in their pockets with this one.
If only Fred Meyer counted with Amex as a supermarket :/.
I got $5 on $100. Hardly worth it, but I signed up.
Now to check my wife’s AmEx cards.
This was offered on my EDP which already has a 3X for grocery spend. This is in addition to the $15 for 5 Apple Pay transactions bonus.
Stack with Amex Offer at Gelson’s Supermarket ($10 back on $50 spend, 2x).
$30 total back on $200 spend = 15%, plus the 800 MR points
My offer was for $10 back on $150 in grocery spend.
once each month Oct-Dec.
