These gift cards are popular since they can be used to purchase other gift cards or merchandise on eBay at a discount. While you can no longer use an eBay gift card to purchase another eBay gift card, many of the restrictions on eBay gift cards have recently been lifted including the six month rolling limit.

Having been dinged for buying same gift cards in 2 other family member’s accounts I have under my control, is this something I can buy for me and my 2 other family member’s accounts?
Like others, I was unable to use prior ebay GCs toward the purchase but I bought them anyway.

Appears that is a new restriction which is pointed out in the post, “While you can no longer use an eBay gift card to purchase another eBay gift card”.

I can’t seem to use credit card registered with Paypal to checkout. Is it just me or eBay? In this case it is worth sacrificing credit card rebate for the discount?
