Capital One Spark Miles Select Business Credit Card ![]() 20K "miles" One time bonus: 20K after $3,000 spend in 3 months from account opening Click Here to Apply (this is NOT an affiliate link) No Annual Fee FM Mini Review: This card is basically the same as the Spark Cash Select for Business, but rewards are intended to be used to offset travel purchases. This is a good option for business owners who prefer simple rewards with no annual fee, and who value free travel over cash back. If you spend more than $19K per year, though, go for the 2X Spark Miles card. Card Type: Mastercard Earning rate: 1.5X everywhere ⚬ Earn 5X miles on hotel and rental car bookings through Capital One Travel Noteworthy perks: Redeem miles for travel at value of 1 cent per mile ⚬ Convert "miles" to airline miles at a (mostly) 2 to 1.5 ratio ⚬ No foreign transaction fees OverviewThe Capital One Spark Miles Select for Business card offers 1.5 miles per dollar everywhere. Miles are worth 1 cent each when redeemed for travel. Simply use the card to pay for any travel expenses, and then log onto your account and apply miles to offset your statement charges. In other words, the Capital One Spark Miles Select for Business card is essentially a 1.5% rewards card. Things get more interesting now that Capital One Miles are transferable to airline miles. Since the transfer ratio is 2 to 1.5, you can think of this card as earning your choice of 1.5% everywhere OR 1.125 airline miles everywhere. More information about Capital One transfer partners can be found here. Overall, I expect that most businesses would do better with the Capital One® Spark® Cash for Business Card (2% back everywhere), the Capital One® Spark® Miles for Business Card (2X everywhere), or the Chase Ink Business Preferred Card (3X in select categories).
