Choice Privileges has launched a surprisingly simple holiday promotion: earn 1,000 points for every night you stay between November 10th and December 26th, up to a maximum of 30 nights (if you’re spending more than 30 nights in a Choice hotel over the holidays, my condolences).

Quick Thoughts

This is an unusually simple offer from Choice, which normally requires two nights or bases its promotions on stays instead. This one gives you 1,000 points per night, regardless of how long the stay is.

We value the average redemption of Choice points at 0.67 cents each, so you could look at this promo as though you’re receiving the equivalent of ~$6.70 worth of points per night. Will that be enough to change anyone’s hotel plans over the holidays? Probably not. But it’s better than a kick in the pants for those who are already staying at a Choice property.
