This is a very short-term quick deal that will only work out for one bidder, but the value for Hilton points looks great for the right person. Concert fans with big Hilton points balances (or friends with whom you can quickly pool points), Hilton Honors Auctions has a pair (that’s 2 passes) of Live Nation Festival Passport passes — which originally sold for $799 each and sold out in three minutes — and bidding is currently at only 260,000 points. These passes can be worth a LOT more than $799 each if you can travel to a number of festivals.

Quick Thoughts
These passes will get you into ninety (that’s 9-0) Live Nation Festivals around the world for the rest of 2017, including sold out shows like Lollapalooza. The Points Guy previously wrote about these festival passports and commenters there indicated that tickets sold out in about 3 minutes at a price of $799 each. To put their potential value in perspective, tickets to Lollapalooza alone were $335 and are sold out (but this pass will get you in). Tickets to Austin City Limits and Bannaroo are also ~$250-$300 per person. It would be easy for a music lover to get a couple thousand dollars in value out of this one if they are looking to travel to music festivals, yielding outsized value for Hilton points, especially considering those festivals that are already sold out. The Hilton Honors Auction ends at 12pm Eastern time and the current bid at the time of writing (with about 48 minutes to go) is at 260,000 Hilton points for two passports good for admission to all of those festivals.
