Chase Pay is back with another discount when you order a meal through the app. This one is only valid tomorrow (Valentine’s Day), but unlike some of the recent discounts, it can be used all day rather than at a set time. This means you should be able to get an almost free lunch on February 14, or a good discount on dinner.
The Deal
- Use the Chase Pay app on February 14, 2019 to order ahead or use a QR code in restaurant to get $5 off your meal.
Key Terms
- Offer valid on February 14, 2019.
- Limited offers available.
- Limit one per customer.
Quick Thoughts
I started taking advantage of these Chase Pay offers a month or two ago and it’s been a good way to save a few bucks when I’m feeling too lazy to make us dinner. One of the best features of these one-day discounts is that they stack with the monthly offers giving $10 off when ordering ahead three times in a month. If you take advantage of these $5 off deals three times in a month, you’re therefore getting a total of $15 off along with $10 off a future order. If Chase wants to give me $25 off when eating out each month, I’m in.
Some of Chase Pay’s recent one-day discounts have only been for use within a certain timeframe (e.g. from 5-6pm). This one is good for all of February 14, so you’re not restricted to only using it for dinner.
We’re currently in the middle of Kansas, so we have a grand total of one restaurant to choose from that’s within 30 miles. The good thing is that it’s a Chinese restaurant that offers lunch specials for $5.99, so it’s looking like it’ll be a General Tso’s lunch for $1 + tax on Thursday.
If you’ve never used Chase Pay to order a meal, you also get $5 off your first order (unless that offer has ended recently). That also stacks with this one-day offer to give you $10 off your first order which could potentially get you a virtually free Valentine’s Day dinner rather than lunch.
Bon appétit!
Oh no it looks like Potbelly near me is no longer on Chase Pay 🙁
Looks like it’s off Chase pay for order ahead. I went in to scan and it wouldn’t take either. Must have technical difficulties or cancelled their partnership…
huge bummer, that’s about the only restaurant in the area for me. Hopefully they soon come back!
And they say points travelers aren’t romantic. Lunch is on me, dear!
My wife will just be pleased it’s not something I’ve made in our Instant Pot!
“monthly offers giving $10 off when ordering ahead three times in a month”
is this per card or per person? thanks.
It’s per person.
An almost free lunch? $5 off? You must be one cheap SOB. 😉
I absolutely am!
