Gift Card reseller GiftMe is holding a flash sale where they are offering Home Depot gift cards for 20% off face value.
Need to Know
- GiftMe only sells cards through their Android and iOS mobile apps. You can find download links on their website.
- GiftMe guarantees cards for 7 days after purchase.
- After downloading the app and adding a payment method, it can take up to 24 hours for that payment method to be validated.
- The next highest available discount percentage is 9.1% according to Gift Card Wiki.
Do not buy from Giftme! I tried buying a Panera card that was shown as 25% off and got 16% off instead. Let them know I would need a refund. They said they don’t refund cards with full balances. I said I would have to dispute this since it was not what was advertised. This is their response:

We have deactivated your account and this will be referred to the fraud department for disputing and doing charge backs on gift cards that have a full balance. We will refer this to the local police.
You agreed to the terms.
@kevindurant
Quite the contrary actually. We wanted to create an atmosphere where sellers can sell and get paid fast and quickly. There is zero logical reason, why anyone should buy a gift card 45+ days before they are willing to spend it. This opens up a large area for friendly fraud which is what our system is trying to avoid. If you actually download our app and try to sell a card, you’ll see that we require quite a lot of information before entering our ecosystem. Much more than the other guys.

Phillip Kravtsov, I have uploaded my ID previously and you have confirmed my account. Now when I click “raise my limit” it asks me to upload my ID again. I did uninstall and reinstall the app on my iphone.
@lei
You should have received a message saying we’re reviewing your bulk buyer request. Takes up to 24 hours to review. Will look into it.
@Phillip
Is the flash sale over? I don’t see any Home Depot cards available?
@wes all sold out 🙂
@justin you don’t have to use our app. Buy cards from the other guys. Sit on them for 40 days, have them go bad and then spend 3 weeks getting your money back from customer service agents who are trying to figure out who committed fraud. We like to think we have a better system.

If you are saying most people buy gift cards to use within 45 days, then change the terms to that. It’s only 7 days. I’m staying away. People buy gift cards for places like Home Depot in bulk when they have expensive home projects that take months to complete. When you see a good deal on gift cards, you load up on them.
+1 to this. I’ve done it several times over the years to the tune of thousands in cards. 20% off materials is very helpful when you’re doing a big project.
‘Zero logical reason’? Really? The most common reason to buy is to lock in savings now for future use. Your 5-minute guarantee sounds as shady as hell to be honest, mate. I’m out.
No worries. Appreciate you looking into us!
Shawn:
It this a 3x ATT opportunity?
Can you buy other gifts cards (like Amazon) with Home Depot gift cards?
Share with us your thoughts about optimizing if not planning to spend $$ at home depot.
Looks like limit of $200 on App to me?
GiftMe Owner / Creator here:
After your verify your credit card, click the exclamation point on the bottom of the app to request to become a bulk buyer. You’ll be able to buy more then $300 at a time.
Why is your guarantee so short compared to the other resellers?
I get a bad feeling from this and makes me think you must buy from sellers you know are fraudulent
Does your company code as 3X for ATT? Optimizing credit card for purchase is important.
Where are these card codes acquired?
