There is a new targeted Chase Offer out today that’s good for 10-15% back at Bloomingdale’s, up to $25 back (varies by individual). If you’re buying merchandise at Bloomingdale’s, that would stack with a shopping portal payout (the best at the time of writing is 12% back).
The Deal
- A new targeted Chase Offer is out that’s good for 10% or 15% back at Bloomingdales, up to $25 back (see your offer for details)
Key Terms
- Expires 5/15/23
- Chase Offers are typically only valid one time, so be sure to max this out on first purchase
Quick Thoughts
My Chase Offer is 10% back up to $25 (back on $250), though some people are seeing 15% back up to $25 (on $166.67). Either way, if you also stack with a good shopping portal payout, the deal gets better. At the time of writing, Retailmenot is offering 12% back, which would stack on top for a total return of 22-27% back.
I don’t expect that a portal would pay out on a gift card purchase (though it’s always worth clicking through one anyway just in case if you’re buying gift cards anyway).

Just now (Sunday 15 October 2023) surprised to see a 20% back offer at Bloomingdale’s on Chase Business Ink Cash and Unlimited. No category restrictions. Up to $83 (wth?). Good for another month yet. We (P1 and P2) both have it, and on both cards. A quick search shows 15% back on one of the consumer cards; neither one of us currently have the Business Ink Preferred.
Now seeing 20% offer on $49 IHG card and on Freedom. I’m going to stop now; point is, it’s out there.
I know it’s always a question whether buying a gift card in store or online will trigger.
Maybe it’s more effort this way… But I have often found that you can buy something online (trigger the credit card offer and portal offer), have it delivered. Then go to store and return for store credit/gift card. Don’t recall ever having the shopping portal tracking reversed because it’s still a “purchase”. Money into the merchant’s pocket.
Nice way to sort of “bank” a good deal for purchase in the not so distant future.
