Update 7/24/21: Re-posting this as my wife received the offer this morning on one of her cards and she was not previously targeted and did not have the offer yesterday. The expiration on her offer shows 9/9/21. It’s worth keeping an eye on your offers periodically to see if the better ones like this show up later. Keep in mind that the gift card deals for Delta, Airbnb, Apple, and DoorDash are still active and stackable with this deal.
There is a new Chase Offer out today that’s good for 10% back at Best Buy up to $35 back. That’s a nice little savings if you’ll be making a purchase at Best Buy. In my case, I got this offer on a Chase IHG credit card, which is great to see since the IHG card is a Mastercard and it therefore should stack with the SimplyMiles Offer for 1K American Airlines miles with a purchase of $200 or more assuming you sync the offer through both programs.
The Deal
- A new Chase Offer is out good for 10% back on all your Best Buy purchases in-store and online up to $35 back
Key Terms
- My offer expires 8/26/21, but YMMV
Quick Thoughts
Note that there was a recent similar Chase Offer, but this one is new. I did not have the previous one on any of my cards, but I do have this one. Note also that Chase Offers vary in terms of expiration. Doctor of Credit reports an expiration date of 8/12, but my offer shows an expiration date of 8/26. YMMV.

Hello, For the Best Buy 10 % offer, does this have to be a single purchase or multiple purchases till the expiration date ? Thank you
The terms say “on all your Best Buy purchases until a $35 back maximum is reached”, so I expect multiple purchases are fine up until a max of $35 back.
Thanks Nick ! I used it once to buy a Best Buy Gift card and was informed by Chase that the offer has been redeemed. Although the wording on the offer mentions ” on all your Best Buy purchases’ and not on a single purchase. I suppose I have to fight it out with Chase customer service
YMMV but DP: The AA SimplyMiles offer explicitly excludes gift card purchases and this may be enforced.’
I purchased a $200 eBay gift card at Best Buy in-store on July 11 on my Chase IHG MasterCard that was synced with both the Chase Offer and the AA SimplyMiles offer. This triggered the Chase Offer but (at least as of today, July 26) did NOT trigger the AA SimplyMiles offer.
My online gift certificate purchase triggered the SimplyMiles offer about 4 days after purchase. So it worked for me.
Update: I finally got an email that I would be getting AA miles for my $200 gift card purchase, nearly a month later. And also somehow I got 750 miles despite the SimplyMiles offer I synced promising only 250?? I’ll take it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Buying $350 of Amazon gift cards worked for both me and my wife’s IHG cards
In store or online?
Guessing store. BB doesn’t ship the Amazon GCs, unfortunately.
That’s right. Bought online, picked up in store.
Do they now accept other card types besides Mastercard?
Will buying Amazon GC at Best Buy count?
Same Q here — or any other kind of GC? I heard doordash GCs don’t work because they are actually purchased through giftstar.com or something like that rather than BB itself.
