Check your Chase Offers (or also see Bank of America or other banks that use the same back end program) for an offer good for 10% back on a United Airlines purchase up to a maximum of $29 back. While it’s not huge, it’s $29 more in your pocket if you were already planning to book a United flight.
The Deal
- A new targeted Chase Offer is out good for 10% back on a United Airlines purchase (up to $29 back)
- Other banks like BOA, Suntrust, and others that use the same back end may also have access to this offer. See Doctor of Credit for a list of other banks that may have similar offers
Key Details
- One time use only
- Maximum of $29 back (not cumulative, so be sure you use the card you sync to book the most expensive flight you need first)
- Expires 9/5/19
Quick Thoughts
Again, the savings here aren’t huge, but it’s basically a free $29 if you’re booking a United flight of $290 or more. Keep in mind that this is valid one time only, not on cumulative purchases.
The timing on this offer could potentially be really good. As we reported the other day, Google Flights is going to be running a test program that starts on Tuesday where, for select flights, they will offer a price guarantee — offering a refund if your flight decreases in price before departure. I don’t have this offer on any of my cards unfortunately, but if I did I would probably hold off until Tuesday to make any bookings so I could try the price guarantee out (if any of the itineraries I need qualify, that is).
