The cheapest fares to Mexico City are only coming up via consolidator site Momondo and seem to only be available for quick turnarounds of two days per the example dates on Secret Flying (click the image for a link):

However, many dates are available in May and June for $204 round trip via Google Flights:

This could be an even better deal — fly from San Francisco to Cancun for $190 round trip:

See this Secret Flying post for example dates as I did not see these prices until entering example dates at Google Flights.

According to ITA Matrix, these flights should book into R-class:

Aeromexico fare class

Wheretocredit shows that R-class on Aeromexico should earn 50% mileage flown with Alaska Airlines:

MVP members would earn 75%, MVP Gold 100%, and MVP Gold 75K would earn 113% mileage flown.

Great Circle Mapper shows us the round trip distance is over 5300 miles:

That’s not a bad haul of miles on a $190 round trip flight — especially for MVP Gold & MVP Gold 75K members.

Remember that booking through an OTA should give you 24 hours to cancel if necessary, allowing you to book first and make arrangements or cancel within 24 hours.

via google/flights, I too have been seeing jaw dropping fares to Mexico…. for the present shoulder season, even on AA and UA. (some of the fares barely cover the taxes)

Nick – sorry to say that but you should not never use that source. All they do is steal deals from anyone. We posted that deal 4 hours ago (using data that was available much before) and voila it shows on that website with no I formation of source.
