As reported by Secret Flying, there is a fare war underway on flights to Hawaii, with fares this fall as low as $247 round trip from the West Coast and as low as $358 round trip from the East Coast, with excellent prices from a number of cities around the country. If you’re looking to get to Hawaii this fall or just in the mood to fly by the seat of your pants, this would be tough to beat. Note that many (all?) of the cheapest fares are in basic economy, so you’ll need to be ready to travel light — or have the right credit card(s). Quick Thoughts
I’m not going to reinvent the wheel here with a long post as these fares may not last long. In a nutshell, most of the best pricing is available in September and October (though some of it is drying up as we speak). The best pricing out of New York was actually available in December, so don’t be afraid to check outside the parameters a little bit on this one.
Note that while some fares are in basic economy, full fare economy isn’t bad either. For example, on the dates where New York to Kauai priced out at $358 RT (with 2 stops on the way, mind you), it was $70 more for full economy.
Assuming you can find those flights / prices via the Chase portal, those witht he CSR could potentially book flights to Hawaii for less than 24,000 points round trip and earn miles (albeit not a ton most likely). Those on the west coast have it even better with nonstop flights pricing as low as $247 RT.

I just checked Ritz travel site, it has the same price as Google Flight. That means you can save $100 on air travel when you use your Ritz-Carlton Rewards Credit Card for two. That brings the ticket price down to $197 per ticket.
