PayPal began offering a deal yesterday good for $25 off of $250 or more at BestBuy.com. I was able to successfully use this deal for both my wife and I last night and it looks like it is still active today.

- PayPal is offering $25 off of $250 at Best Buy when you check out with PayPal checkout
- Direct link to this deal
Key Terms
- Limited to first 40,000 uses
- One use per account

- See landing page for full terms
Quick Thoughts
This should stack with portal rewards if you click through a portal to Best Buy (Ibotta still has 10% back up to $20 back with some limitations). Note that Best Buy has cancelled some gift card orders and if your order gets cancelled you won’t get the $25 discount back to use again.
I saw a couple of reports of this purchase successfully triggering the Amex Offer for Best Buy despite checking out via PayPal, but YMMV. Since this discount comes off on the PayPal side, you would need to buy $275 before the discount to trigger both the Amex Offer and use this discount. Alternatively, use a Chase Freedom card as PayPal is a Q4 5x category.
H/T: Doctor of Credit
FYI you have to add the offer first 🙁
Other than buying big-ticket items such as a tv, are there suggestions of how to use this?
I am happy to get Amozon gift cards at a 10%+ discount
I bought Disney gift cards at a 10% discount + 5X URs using a Freedom card.
Dopey me, for some reason I thought the article said no gift cards, even 3rd party. Thank you for the replies!
Thanks nick, I got it.
