Quick Thoughts
The welcome offer on the Signature version of the Qatar card isn’t all that great considering it maxes out at 65K bonus Avios and other Avios earning credit cards with a similar annual fee (British Airways, Aer Lingus, and Iberia) all have a 75K welcome offer right now. That said, some might still appreciate this Qatar card for its ability to earn 4x on dining purchases through February 4, 2026, as well as the Silver status you receive for the first year of card membership.
The Infinite card meanwhile offers the opportunity to earn up to 100K bonus Avios, as well as 6x on dining through February 4, 2026 which could be very appealing if you generate a lot of dining spend. However, be aware that the terms state the following regarding eligible dining spend:
You may not get additional Avios for purchases at a restaurant located within another establishment (e.g., a restaurant located inside a hotel, casino, or event venue) or for purchases made through third-party food delivery services including mobile app delivery services. For example, purchases made at a restaurant located within a hotel may be recognized as a purchase at a hotel, not a restaurant. Cardholders will not earn additional Avios for purchases at bars, nightclubs, coffee shops, and convenience stores.
The Infinite card also comes with Gold status for the first year which translates to Oneworld Sapphire status, as well as reward fee rebates after spending $15K in your first cardmember year or $25K in subsequent years. If you’ll be booking a lot of award flights with Qatar Airways, that latter benefit could save you a decent amount of money. However, this card does come with a $499 annual fee which plays a big factor in the overall value of the card.
It’s not clear how long the increased welcome offers will be around for. The enhanced dining earn rate is valid on eligible spend through February 4, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the 65K/100K welcome offers will last that long.

The only concern I have is if you open either Qatar card now, you’ll run afoul Cardless’s 60-days between approval rule. Which wouldn’t normally matter IF the BILT Card wasn’t coming out in 60 days.
Would love to hear if the 60-day rule applies to Bilt cardholders moving from WF. Maybe wait until Jan announcement?
Do you know if there is any increase in award availability (even at the flex level) with gold status?
I think there is increased availability for economy only. Im interested in this card just for an experiment to see how close I get to OWE with crediting my AA flights + the tier point bonus with spend.
Used to be a card with a hefty fee offered a ton of benefits. For a $499 AF this card if offering peanuts!
The last time Cardless ran a promo like this, current cardholders also got the 6x dining multiplier.
It will be interesting to see if that happens this time around.
