There’s a targeted Chase Offer available at the moment that’s giving 10% back as a statement credit when spending $100+ with Air India.

The Deal
- Get 10% back as a statement credit when spending $100+ in a single transaction with Air India via a targeted Chase Offer.
Key Terms
- Expires December 31, 2025.
- $50 cash back maximum.
- Offer valid one time only.
- Offer only valid on purchase made directly with the merchant.
- Offer valid online only.
- Offer not valid on purchase made using third-party services, delivery services, or a third-party payment account (e.g., buy now pay later).
- Offer only valid on U.S. purchase. It is possible that the merchant may split your purchase into multiple transactions. Offer redemption awarded as statement credit on the first qualifying transaction amount.
Quick Thoughts
This will obviously be most useful for people booking paid flights with Air India. However, there might be slightly wider interest in this now that Air India is a transfer partner of Rove Miles. As a result, taxes and fees on an award ticket should also trigger the statement credit from the Chase Offer provided you spend at least $100.

I have the offer on my chase freedom and freedom unlimited cards. Will I be charged a foreign transaction fee? I’m planning on buying Air India gift cards since they have 8% off and they’re in INR. Also, from the terms it looks like only the first transaction will trigger the 10%.
If you were to pay for flights originating in the US, you might not pay a foreign transaction fee. With gift cards denominated in INR though, you probably would be charged a foreign transaction fee.
Just FYI, buying gift cards might trigger the Chase Offer, but it might not.
If you do buy gift cards, you could buy US$500 worth on each card on which you have the offer.
We treat you like cattle.
I have a coworker that flies air india often but doesn’t have a current ticket to book. Curious if Air India gift cards would trigger this.
I suspect that they would provided Air India appears in the transaction details.
The downside of this offer is that you have to fly Air India..
