Quick Thoughts
While the discounted award pricing isn’t spectacular, it could still make sense in some cases, especially if you’re well-stocked with Alaska miles.

I’m trying to decide whether or not to preemptively transfer miles from AMEX to Hawaiian Airlines and ultimately Alaska Airlines since Alaska miles are difficult to earn. Transfers from AMEX to Hawaiian end on June 30th. Alaska FF Program has been great for its partner diversity and lucrative mileage redemptions. I have 240,000 Hawaiian Miles now and 265,000 AMEX miles. Could you make a recommendation
I am personally waiting for 320k amex miles to post from 2 accounts around the middle of this month, so I can do the Hawaiian/Alaska Shuffle – We are planning on lots of Southeast Asia travel in the next few months. So it makes sense to us.
For flights within SE Asia or to/from SE Asia?
Tokyo, Seoul, Aukland, Sydney are our travel plans then cheap carriers or partners to keep moving.
