Amazon.com Shop with Points

Amazon is offering $15 off if you link a Chase credit card and pay a portion with Ultimate Rewards.

How to Get $15 Off

Taken from the promotional terms:

  • Add products sold and shipped by Amazon.com to your Shopping cart.
  • Choose your enrolled Chase card as your Payment Method and select to use your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to pay for all or part of your order. Click “Use this payment method.”
  • Enter the promo code SWP15CH15D in the box provided and press “Apply.”
  • Redeem at least $0.01 (or 1 Chase Ultimate Rewards point) and press “Apply”.
  • The SWP Promo of up to $15 of savings will be reflected instantly on the right side of the checkout page. If the shopping cart order is less than $15, the promotional credit will be applied against the full order and no points will be deducted. You can change the amount of points redeemed at any time prior to placing the order.

Eligible Chase cards include: Freedom, Sapphire, Sapphire Preferred, Ink Bold, Ink Plus, Ink Cash, Ink Classic, Chase Corporate Flex, J.P. Morgan Palladium & J.P. Morgan Select.

You can find step by step instructions for linking your card here.

Targeted?

This promotion may be targeted and doesn’t seem to work on every account. If the code doesn’t work when redeeming 1 points, try redeeming 100 points ($1) instead. Some people have said this works to get the discount.

I couldn’t see anything that I could select to use Chase Ultimate Rewards points to pay for all or part of your order.

There was no space that I could enter the promo code SWP15CH15D in the box, either.

Can someone help? Is the promotion still valid?

Glenn

Ditto what Ben said. Put a $50 Starbucks card in my cart, applied the code successfully, edited the cart and changed it to a $25 card, went back to checkout and applied the code again, successfully, got a $25 card for $10 after the savings (well, $9.99 and 1UR point).

Glenn

Worked for me. Couldn’t get it to work for Amazon Gift Cards 🙁 but I ordered some gift cards from ACI (Subway and Panda Express) with no problem.

Zack

All my UR cards are already linked, do I have to unlink and relink?
(Asking cuz not working for me)

Dave

Worked for mine, but not my wife’s Amazon account.

Martin

No go for me either, even though it showed as available it said that Offer Code was not valid for this order.

Mike

No go for me. 1pt or 100pts

Lynn

Also says limited to one per customer and account.

Lynn

I just did a $25 gift card and it worked putting in .01. I don’t think the promo specifies an amount you need to spend. In fact, says can be less than $15. But amazon does give 5X now for chase freedom cards. Thanks!!

Grant

Which gift card did you purchase? I tried Amazon, SWA, and Starbucks and nothing worked. Thank you Lynn 🙂

Lynn

I got a Panera gift card mailed to me.

Just type in “sold by amazon” in search bar together with any item you’re looking for.

Sean

I couldn’t get it to work on either Sapphire Preferred or Ink Plus using either method of using .01 or $1 worth of UR points. Tried to order a gift card (of course) and when that didn’t work I tried to order Amazon rechargeable batteries. Oh well.

I was able to get $15 off $25 — I placed a $50 e-gift card in my card, added the promo, revised the card to $25 (the minimum for the particular type of card I was after), and paid 1 point ($0.01) plus $9.99 on my card.

Anyone know a good way to search for Amazon sold & shipped products eligible for these promotions? Seems that most products are fulfilled by Amazon and thus not eligible.
