There are some big new Amex Offers out today to get large quantities of points (or cash back) for furniture purchases. If you’re looking for a mattress or other furniture, you’ll want to check out these offers from Casper.com and Raymour & Flanigan.

.Casper.com: Spend $1,250, get 25,000 Membership Rewards points or $250 (see your offer)

Expires: 2/28/19

Notes: If you’re planning to take advantage of this one, make sure you order well in advance of the deadline. Some merchants don’t charge until they ship and it would be a huge disappointment to miss out on these points because it took a few days to ship. I also saw the $250 offer on some cards.

Raymour & Flanigan: Spend $750+, get 11,500 Membership Rewards points or$115 (see your offer)

Expires: 1/20/19

Notes: Similar to the Casper offer, be sure to order early enough if you’re ordering online. You should also be able to split tender easily in-store (this offer is valid both in-store and online).

Bottom line

There are quite a few new and interesting Amex Offers out today, so it’s worth taking a look at your account to see what’s been targeted to your account. Screen shots above show the Membership Rewards points versions of those offers, but similar cash back offers appeared on some cards. If you value Membership Rewards at more than $0.01 each, those offers would likely be more interesting — though cash is king for some.
