Jim: Did you try opening your browser in Private or Incognito mode first?

Curt

Just a quick note…..

Unlike other banks, AEX will not grandfather you in ie; just opened
a new account prior to the new sign up bonus, you have not made the min. spend for the bonus.

I had 2 other cards from 2 separate banks both come up with a better bonus than what I signed up for and both banks gave me the new bonus.

AEX is very very stringent on their T&C so please be aware.

How does this card compare with the Chase Sapphire which is available for 40,000 after $3000 spend in 90 days? (Sorry for the earlier post)

Both are great offers. Both points programs can be used for hotel stays or transferred to airlines for flights, but there is very little overlap between them. Use SPG for Starwood hotels, or transfer to airlines such as American Airlines, US Air, Delta. Use Chase Ultimate Rewards points directly for any travel booked through them, or transfer to hotels (Hyatt, Marriott, etc.) or to Airlines (United, British Airways, …)
