Last week we shared about an offer a reader received on their Bilt Mastercard. That gave 5x points on all spend (up to $2,500 of spend) after requesting an increase in their credit line.
Well, the same reader reached out yesterday to share that having maxed out that 5x spending offer, they received another 5x spending offer, this time valid for spending at grocery stores, gas stations and dining.
The 5x offer the reader received when requesting a credit line increase was only valid for five days, but this latest 5x spending offer is valid for 30 days from the day they received the offer which makes it easier to max out.
For the purposes of these offers, Bilt regards the 5x as being made up of 1 base point and 4 bonus points per dollar when spending in the eligible categories. The offer the reader received is valid on up to 10,000 bonus points which means it’ll be maxed out when spending $2,500 on groceries, gas and/or dining.
In the past, the only time people tended to see spending offers on their Bilt Mastercard was in the first five days after activating their card, as well as the ability to earn double points on the first of each month (i.e. Bilt’s Rent Day feature). The fact that at least some cardholders are seeing these additional spending offers is great; hopefully they end up being widespread and continue throughout the year.
