Bilt has provided details about its next Rent Day promotions. Today only, you’ll be able to take advantage of a bonus of up to 100% when transferring your Bilt Rewards points to Avianca LifeMiles. As is usually the case, the percentage available will depend on your status level with Bilt.
The Deal
- Get a bonus when transferring Bilt Rewards points to Avianca LifeMiles:
- Platinum = 100% bonus
- Gold = 60% bonus
- Silver = 40% bonus
- Blue = 20% bonus

Quick Thoughts
Bilt ran a similar transfer bonus to LifeMiles six months ago; the only difference this time is that those with Bilt Gold status get a slightly better transfer rate of 60% this time versus 50% last time.
If you do have Platinum status, getting a 100% bonus is very tempting, although that’s the case most months, seeing as that’s usually the ratio available for Platinum members whenever there’s a transfer bonus. If you’re a frequent redeemer of LifeMiles, it could make sense to speculatively transfer. If your LifeMiles redemptions are few and far between, though, it might make more sense to hold on to your points and hope there’s a more useful (for you) 100% transfer bonus to a different program in the coming months.

Any insight into why transfers to Emirates, JAL and Hilton all show ending at the end of July? Emirates I would assume is dropping to 1:0.8, Hilton I don’t care about, but what’s up with JAL?
Whereabouts are you seeing that? I just checked online and on their app and don’t see a mention of that.
Never mind. I had seen it as separate cards on the rent day tab. The place where there are all the cards with countdowns when each rent day benefit starts or ends also had separate cards with end times for those three partners. But I just checked again and it seems to be gone. Now I just see the 4 standard rent day cards.
It would be nice if the new $495 card came with Platinum status.
