Chase Pay is once again offering a “happy hour” today from 5pm-6pm local time (Wednesday, 2/20/19). If you use Chase Pay to order ahead or pay at a restaurant with a QR code between 5pm-6pm local time, you can get $5 off (while supplies last).

  • See your Chase Pay app to find this deal

Key Details

  • One use per customer
  • Valid today only

Quick Thoughts

In order to take advantage of this promo, you’ll have to either order ahead via the Chase Pay app (keep in mind this is a separate app from the Chase mobile banking app) or use a QR code from the Chase Pay app to pay in-store.

Also remember that Chase has renewed its previous offer to get a $10 meal credit when you use Chase Pay at restaurants 3 times during February (with a minimum order of $5 each time), so this order can get you a third of the way there.

While I probably won’t take advantage this time around, it’s good to see Chase continuing to offer up some free grub in exchange for using Chase Pay. I just wish they’d spend some of their budget on expanding its acceptance.

Dr. V

I am not seeing it in my Chase Pay. Usually I see them as soon as I open the app. It isn’t targeted by chance? Or could it be I used the Vday one and therefore ineligible?
