Quick Thoughts
These Chase spending offers are targeted; my wife and I were able to register three of our four IHG cards and one of our two Hyatt cards.
Be sure to check the terms of the offers as there might be different versions in addition to those listed above. My wife was targeted for 1,000 bonus points per month when spending $1,000 on one of her IHG cards and an offer for 5,000 bonus points when spending $3,000 within the promotion period on her other IHG card. We’re unlikely to take advantage of either of those offers, but it’d be important to know which type of spending requirement you’re working towards on any given card.
The IHG spending offers aren’t particularly exciting because even with the bonus points they’re still not great for spending on unless you’re paying for IHG stays. Earning double points on $1,000 of spend per month on Hyatt and Southwest cards is more interesting though, especially if you’d be putting spend on a Hyatt card anyway in order to earn bonus elite nights and/or to spend $15,000 to earn a free night certificate.
It doesn’t seem like Marriott or United cards have been included in this latest round of Chase spending offers, but let us know if you did happen to be targeted on either of those types of co-branded cards.
Note that there’s a limit of 3,000 bonus points that you can earn during the promotion period for the offers awarding 1,000 bonus points per $1,000 of spend.
No luck with my Hyatt.
Thanks for the heads up. I registered my Southwest Priority and am eligible for 2K bonus points per month:
“Earn 2,000 bonus points per month when you spend $2,000 on purchases per month on your Southwest Rapid Rewards Credit Card between October 1 and December 31, 2021
— that’s in addition to the points you already earn with your card”
Thanks for the DP – I’ll add that to the post.
