Quick Thoughts
The email from Delta mentions round trip flights to Boston as costing as low as 6,000 SkyMiles. The lowest I found was 6,600 miles round trip which is still a potentially great deal; I didn’t check every city combination though, so that 6K pricing might be available from somewhere.
There are lots of decently priced domestic awards, but there are also lots of low priced awards to Mexico, the Caribbean and South America too. For example, you can book Los Angeles to Puerto Vallarta and Cancun from only 8,000 SkyMiles round trip (plus taxes and fees), Cancun and Tulum from New York from 8,000 SkyMiles round trip, New York to Turks & Caicos from 12,000 SkyMiles round trip and much more.
Bear in mind that this lowest pricing is in Main Basic which doesn’t include seat assignment, isn’t eligible for upgrades, etc.
If you have an eligible Delta credit card, you’ll also save 15% on the award booking(s), saving you even more. You don’t have long to book though as you have to book by October 23.

Yes, suddenly a few values are here, but just for the low-end fliers who don’t know what to do with the 18k AmEx miles they’ve accrued since COVID… for anyone that’s flown around the sun a few more times, these Basic deals are worthless.
Everyone’s travel needs are different – no need to be condescending.
Sorry but I flew my extended family of 9 from Baltimore to Seattle last summer for 6k miles each way and I think it was a steal of a deal!!
Sorry we’re not at all as majestic as you are.
Hope it made you feel better to let us all know that you think you’re better than all of us who don’t always fly F class. Ugh.
When do I have to fly?
The promo page doesn’t list specific dates; the advertised routes I see are between November-March, but there might be deals further out.
