Delta launched a new award sale yesterday for flights in Delta One (i.e. business class). The value from these offers is questionable, but if you already have a large stash of SkyMiles and are happy to book round trip tickets, it might be worth considering.

Quick Thoughts
To get the best pricing with this award sale, you have to book round trip tickets. Even then, it’s hard to get overly enthused considering round trip flights from Atlanta to Rio de Janeiro cost 200,000 SkyMiles, New York to London is 240k round trip, Atlanta to Dublin is 250k miles round trip, etc.
That’s all on the low end too. Some of the other “deals” highlighted by Delta include Washington DC to Lisbon for 450,000 miles round trip and Seattle to Seoul for an equally high 450,000 miles round trip.
If you have a Delta credit card, some of the high award costs can be mitigated by the 15% award discount you’ll receive as a cardholder. Otherwise, this sale will only be worth it for people who already have a massive stash of SkyMiles.

I have resigned to the fact that that program is worthless for international travel. To be honest they demand a premium bc of their “we’re a premium airline “ but in reality I didn’t find their first class domestic product to be anything special or better than American.
