One decent deal I saw posted on Slickdeals is this Roku Premier+, sold by Best Buy:
After the coupon, it would be $65 + tax. According to CamelCamelCamel, the lowest price it’s ever been on Amazon is the current $79:
It’s always nice to save a few bucks on something you had your eye on. Let us know what you find in the comments.
I received an email from Frequent Miler *today* that had this story in it.
Was the email alerting others to this deal sent out after the deal was already over, or did my email account hold up delivery somehow?
I get that eBay pulled the deal early, but even if they hadn’t I didn’t receive the notification until today (Long after the deal was over).
I actually ended up stumbling onto a *GREAT* deal on something I’ve been wanting for a long time while searching for something to use $15 off on so I’m not trying to be a complainer but it would be nice to have more confidence that the “deals” coming into my Inbox are at least still within the stated active window when I receive them. 🙂
Hi Jeff — we definitely want you to get what you want when you want it.
It sounds like you are subscribed to daily posts by email — where you receive one email each morning with snippets of all of the posts from the previous 24 hours. We have different options so everyone can choose how often to receive email — instant post alerts, daily alerts, weekly alerts, etc.
Before I worked here, I had an instant alert set up. I got the instant alert in my inbox time stamped yesterday at 5:41pm (which was 15 minutes after I published it). Check out our subscription options here:

Also, you can follow Frequent Miler on Twitter and enable notifications and you’ll receive a notification on your phone whenever we post something (the Tweet is usually instant when we post something, even faster than email).
Thanks for posting to ask — like I said, we want to get you what you want, and I understand wanting to know about the deal right away.
Perfect – thanks for the clarification!
Did you even try this before posting?
It’s dead
Of course – it worked while I was writing the post. My apologies that eBay killed it minutes after I posted it. If I had known in advance that they would kill it early, I wouldn’t have posted it. Unfortunately, the Frequent Miler crystal ball seems to be on the fritz. I’ll have to talk to Greg about getting a replacement.
