Quick Thoughts

It’s good to see another set of Flying Blue Promo Rewards that have representation on both east and west coasts, along with other cities like Chicago, Phoenix, and Dallas, not to mention premium economy and business class options from Vegas and D.C. respectively.

Note that you don’t have to fly to/from Paris or Amsterdam – the hubs for Air France and KLM. If there’s standard award pricing available, you should be able to get the 25% discount when flying anywhere in Europe for 18,750, 30,000, or 45,000 miles depending on which cabin you’ll be traveling in.

When running searches, it’s worth leaving the date field blank as that ensures that the search results are displayed on a monthly basis, making it far easier to see availability at a glance.

Taxes and fees on Flying Blue award flights can be medium high, so be sure to check those before transferring points to your Air France or KLM account.
