I got a 50% off email from booking.com. I think I will cancel. Do you think booking.com will give any coupons for the inconcvience? I booked 7 rooms originally I wonder if the hotel would be willing to give me one of the rooms at the cheap rate if I promise to cancel the other six.

Scott

Just received the “we screwed up” email. FS is offering 50% off the rate of $355 to keep the reservation.

That’s a decent discount on the rates for my dates. Might be able to get more in discussion with hotel. At the least I’d want some amenities thrown in if they won’t budge on that rate.

dan

i think it is dead now. I was able to get a couple rooms before the rate changed. This is my first error rate booking. What do hotels/OTA’s usually do for compensation for cancelling?

alex

can’t find and date that works… did I miss the deal? 🙁
