The Chase Freedom card currently gives account holders a bonus if they also have a Chase checking account. Some have the old version of this benefit in which they earn a 10% bonus on base points earned plus 10 bonus points per purchase. Newer account holders (like me) have a simpler benefit: earn an annual 10% bonus on all points earned. Either way, if my reading of this is correct, it appears that these bonuses will end after 12/31/2015.
A reader was kind enough to send me an email she had received from Chase about this (I haven’t received my email yet!). And I was able to follow links in the email to online documents that spell out changes coming to the Freedom card and Ultimate Rewards program. There are other minor changes, but the big one is the elimination of the bonus program that used to be called “Chase Exclusives”.

This change parallels a similar change to Chase’s Sapphire Preferred card which will no longer earn a 7% annual dividend for existing cardholders after 12/31/2015.

I’m not sure. Your best bet is to call or secure message Chase to ask
