There’s been a big batch of travel-related Amex Offers released over the last day or two. One of the best of those is a targeted Delta offer giving $80 back when spending $400.

Quick Thoughts

This is a great offer if you’re targeted for this one and need to book Delta flights, especially if you find it on an American Express Platinum Card® seeing as you’ll also earn 5x Membership Rewards on the purchase(s).

Note that flights have to originate in the US, so it won’t be helpful if you’re planning on booking a flight from overseas back to the US. This should work when booking award flights that originate in the US though, provided the taxes/fees amount to $400+.
