Grand Hyatt Amex Offer: Get $50 back on $250+ in spend

0

There’s a new targeted Amex Offer out that’s good for $50 back when you spend $250 or more at Grand Hyatt properties both in the US and internationally. That last part is bolded because many past Amex Offers for Grand Hyatt have only been good within the United States.

The Deal

  • A new targeted Amex Offer is out that’s good for $50 back when you spend $250+ USD in one or more purchases on room rate and room charges at Grand Hyatt properties in the US and internationally from 1/15/25 to 4/15/25 (enrollment required)

Key Terms

  • Enrollment is limited.
  • Eligible Card Members must first add offer to Card and then use same Card for qualifying spend. Only US-issued American Express® Cards are eligible.
  • Limit of 1 statement credit per eligible Card Member account.
  • If the Card Account is canceled or past due, it may not qualify to receive a statement credit.
  • Offer valid only at Grand Hyatt® Hotels in the US and internationally.
  • Reservations must be made directly with Hyatt via hyatt.com/brands/grand-hyatt, the World of Hyatt mobile app, a Grand Hyatt® Hotel, or a Hyatt call center.
  • Excludes all other Hyatt brand properties and timeshares.
  • Offer not valid for purchases of gift cards or World of Hyatt points.
  • Qualifying purchase means a purchase at a participating Grand Hyatt® property made during the offer period with your enrolled American Express Card and which is in an amount totaling at least $250 USD as posted to your account, following conversion from a foreign currency, if applicable, in accordance with your Cardmember Agreement.
  • Offer only valid on room rate and room charges.
  • Please allow 90-days after 4/15/2025 for the statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account

Quick Thoughts

This is a nice offer if you’ll be staying at a Grand Hyatt during the offer window. It is notable that this offer is valid at both properties in the US and internationally. Many Amex Offers are only valid at properties in the US and Canada. Now the terms indicate that the offer requires $250 or more in spend based on the converted US dollar amount as it posts on your statement (so if you are spending in a foreign currency, you may want to spend a bit more than the equivalent of $250 to cover any difference in currency conversion).

The terms of the offer exclude gift card purchases, but I would expect a purchase made at the front desk where you’re paying the hotel directly would trigger the offer.
