Hawaii is one of the most popular destinations in the US — and today flights to tropical paradise are on sale from cities around the US for travel from January to May 2018. Dates are drying up a bit, but flights are still available from cities around the US and to each of the major Hawaiian airports — some examples follow, but adjust departure and arrival cities to fit your preferences. Note that the flights on Alaska/Virgin might be a great use of the companion certificate that comes with the BOA Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card, especially from east coast cities.
Click the city pairs or images to go to Google Flights:
San Diego to Lihue from $306
Bay Area (SFO / SJC / OAK) to Hawaii from $327
Seattle to Kona from $345
Las Vegas to Honolulu from $364
Chicago to Honolulu from $462
Nashville to Maui from $498
New York to Kona from $522
Philadelphia to Hawaii from $522 with a day in LA or $542 without
Boston to Honolulu
Bottom line
These are some nice fares if you’re interested in heading to the Hawaiian islands this winter. Remember that Google Flights allows you to search multiple airports at once, so choose your departure airports and multiple Hawaiian airports (HNL, OGG, KOA, LIH, and more) to find the best deals.

sorry brah. i hard pass. still too many CSR n00bs around. when lounge + plane + bar + hotel is full of CSR holders, im out. wait for the PO MO kill to take its full impact in 2019.
Alternatively this is a relatively poor use of the companion cert as measured by cash saved.
Would you rather use it when tickets are $700 and pay more out of your pocket in order to feel like you saved $700 even though you spent more?
