Hilton has sent some app-based pop-up alerts offering members the chance to earn double or triple points on their next stay after registration. If you have an upcoming Hilton stay, it is worth keeping an eye out for this promotion, which may also come via email with the subject line, “[Name], want to earn Double Points?”.
The Deal
- Hilton is offering a targeted in-app pop-up / email promotion for some members to earn double or triple points with their next stay in the next 4 months after registration.
- The triple points offer has a landing page here, though terms indicate that it is only open to those targeted.
Key Terms
- This offer is only valid and exclusive to select members and is not transferable.
- To be eligible for this offer from Hilton Honors, a member (1) must have received this offer directly from Hilton Honors, and (2) register to participate using the same e-mail address associated with the promotional invitation by December 31, 2025.
- Offer valid for one stay completed between September 10, 2025, and December 31, 2025 (“promotion period”) at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Portfolio. Hilton Honors™ members must first register at HiltonHonors.com/CRMTriplePoints before completing a stay within the promotion period.
- Registered Hilton Honors members checking in before September 10, 2025, will receive Bonus Points for their stay if the stay is completed on or after September 10, 2025, and prior to or on December 31, 2025.
- Registered Hilton Honors members will earn Triple Points per stay during the promotion period. “Triple Points” means members will receive Bonus Points equal to twice the number of Base Points earned during a stay.
- There is no limit to the total amount of Bonus Points that may be earned during the Promotion Period with this offer. However, there are restrictions on the number of Base Points that can be earned per stay at certain brands. For examples and further details, please see the FAQ page.
- This offer may be altered or terminated without notice. Bonus Points do not count toward elite tier qualification.
- Please allow six to eight weeks from the completion of your stay for Bonus Points to appear in your account.
Quick Thoughts
This could obviously yield a decent little bonus if you were targeted and you’ve got an upcoming qualifying stay.
That said, since it only offers the bonus on your next qualifying stay after registration, you’ll want to be sure to only register ahead of a big-spend stay. If, for instance, you have an upcoming one-night stay and then a week-long stay in December, you’d probably want to wait to register (and, personally, I’d be hesitant to register until right before that stay for fear of an unexpected need arising between now and then and then burning the promo on an unintended stay). I don’t love that anxiety here because I might end up forgetting about it before the big stay. I’d much rather Hilton offer its typical 2x or 3x on every stay.
But if you do have a good use coming in the not-distant future, this could certainly amp up your earnings. Keep in mind that this is double or triple the base points, before elite earnings. You would therefore earn either 20 points per dollar or 30 points per dollar before any elite bonus and/or credit card earnings (depending on which offer you have).
