If you have a Hulu subscription – or were thinking of taking one out – there’s a new Amex Offer that can save you money over the next few months.

Key Terms
- Expires March 28, 2019.
- Offer valid online only at Hulu.com.
- Offer is non-transferable.
- Limit of 4 statement credit(s) per Card Member.
Quick Thoughts
This targeted Hulu Amex Offer is good for four statement credits, so it can save you up to $20 on a subscription in the coming months. With a one month free trial and plans starting at $5.99 per month, that means you can get five months of Hulu service for less than $1 per month.
Hulu unfortunately stopped selling gift cards directly a few years ago, so I’m not aware of any way to maximize this offer if there’s more than one of you with this offer in your household, other than using a second card with the offer loaded for a fifth payment before March 28.
If you’re a first-time Hulu subscriber, you can save/earn a little more by clicking through from a portal when subscribing. Be sure to check the terms of the portal though to ensure the plan you want is eligible for cashback. For example, the basic $5.99 per month plan will earn 1,500 miles through the American Airlines portal, but seemingly not through Top Cashback as they only appear to be offering cashback for Hulu Live and Hulu SVOD subscriptions.
Does Hulu subscription include channels DSC, APL, TLC, NGW, and NGC?
Shopathome $25 cash back worked, tracked and is in my account.
How long did it take to track
For those with this offer on multiple accounts…you should be able to sign up multiple times (parents, partner, children, pets, etc.) with each card. The duplicate subscriptions aren’t useful…but additional AA points would be. Not a bad way to earn an additional 3 to 6k AA points on the remaining otherwise useless offers.
Any reason why this wouldn’t work (ex. Hulu check IP address, mailing address, etc.)?
Woo hoo, thanks! I was contemplating joining Hulu just to watch “The Good Place” but was balking at paying for it just for that one show. Now, with $25’ish worth of AA points + $20 in Amex Offers rebates and $5.99/month for 4 months, I’m basically making a profit of $18+ after taxes AND getting to see all of this Good Place season without using the crappy NBC.com site. Thanks again!
Can AUs use it also?
If they have the offer on their card, then yes they can.
I’ve got it, thinking I’ll pair this with a airline shopping portal to turn a profit on this, up to 1500 pts of American
Don’t know about anyone else, but this didn’t show up on any of mine, or my wife’s 8 amex cards
Yup, no offers on any of my AMEX cards 🙁
Thanks for the heads up – I’ve added that it’s targeted to the post. My wife and I had it on all our cards, so I’d assumed it was a widespread offer.
The Hulu offer typically doesn’t show up if you already have a history of using Amex for Hulu.
