IHG One Rewards is sending out emails targeting some members with an offer giving 3,000 bonus points for every two nights you stay through mid-May.

Key Terms
- To participate in the “3,000 Points Every 2 Nights” Promotion (the “Promotion”), an individual must have a valid IHG One Rewards member account and must be invited to register for the Promotion. Members can pre-register for this Promotion starting March 25, 2025 through March 31, 2025 (the “Pre-Registration Period”). Members will be able to stay and earn IHG One Rewards bonus points under this Promotion beginning April 1, 2025 and ending on May 15, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). Members who did not register during the Pre-Registration Period may register for the Promotion during the Promotion Period. A member can only register once. By registering for the Promotion, a member is accepting these Terms & Conditions.
- After registering for the Promotion, a member can earn 3,000 bonus points for every 2 room nights that meet the definition of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay, during the Promotion Period, up to a maximum earn during the Promotion of 9,000 IHG One Rewards bonus points. The bonus points earned during the Promotion can be used toward Reward Nights, can be redeemed for merchandise, or can be used for other redemption opportunities, as permitted under the IHG One Rewards Member Terms and Conditions. The time needed for awarding points can vary with each promotion, so please allow up to 6 weeks for any earned bonus points to be posted to the recipient’s account.
- For purposes of this Promotion, a “Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay” is defined as a minimum one (1) room night stay, during the Promotion Period, at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a spend of at least $30 dollars (or local currency equivalent) in Eligible Charges per night. Room nights that fall outside of the Promotion Period are not included, and room nights that are part of a stay that was completed prior to registration for the Promotion also are not included. Stays booked using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash are not Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stays for purposes of this Promotion. Bookings made through on-line travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify under this Promotion.
- If more than one member who registered for the Promotion checks into the same room, only one member is eligible to earn points under the Promotion for those nights that qualify. If a member books more than one room on the same night, the member will receive credit towards this Promotion for only one of the rooms that also meets the requirements of a Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay.
Quick Thoughts
IHG is currently running a promotion offering double points on award stays, but that’s sadly not stackable with this new targeted promotion. That’s because the double points promo ends on March 31, while this new promo awarding 3,000 bonus points for every two nights you stay is only valid for stays from April 1.
There is a separate promo that could stack though. A couple of months ago, some IHG members were targeted with an offer to earn double elite night credits. If you’re lucky enough to be targeted for both, every two nights you stay will get you 3,000 bonus points plus four elite night credits.
