There’s a very good Amex Offer for Lyft showing on some folk’s account that can save you up to 30% when spending $50 or more.
This must be relatively tightly-targeted, however. I checked both mine and my wife’s accounts after Stephen noticed the offer this morning, we struck out and were 0-30.
The Deal
- Spend $50 in one or more transactions with Lyft and get $15 back with a targeted Amex Offer.

- Must use enrolled Card as payment method directly with Lyft mobile app.
- Excludes electronic gift card purchases and international rides.
- Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.

Quick Thoughts
If you’re targeted, this is a pretty good discount without much required spend on Lyft. I can’t remember the last time that we saw a Lyft Amex offer…hopefully this is a sign that there will be more on the way.

I had the offer on my Delta Platinum card. I’ll wait for data points about whether or not Lyft cash triggers it.

I have the Delta Biz Plat and adding $25 of Lyft cash triggers the ride share credit.
Think I will wait to see successful DP before going the Lyft cash route.
As a data point, I purchased $50 Lyft credit with my Delta Amex card and it triggered the Amex email saying that I’d used my offer. Fingers crossed but I’m cautiously optimistic.
Got on my and P2’s Aspire but not Gold or Platinum. From this and the other postings this seems targeted for Delta and Hilton co brands. Say it excludes gift card purchases but based on past experience (Chase offer?) it should work to load $50 into Lyft Cash (which is differen than a gift card).
It was on my Gold Delta Amex but none of the others.
I had the offer on my Hilton Aspire & Hilton Business, or Delta Gold.
I got this on my two Hilton Surpass cards. Allegedly, you can simply buy a $50 gift card to maximize this.
I got this on P1 and P2, but only on Delta cards.
