Quick Thoughts

Based on searches of Marriott Homes & Villas I’ve done in the past, the properties don’t come very cheaply for the most part, so it shouldn’t be too hard to spend $1,000 if you’re staying for at least a few nights.

Although there are Homes & Villas all around the world, this Amex Offer only works in certain countries and regions – United States, Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean – so bear that in mind if you were wanting to use this offer for a stay in Europe, Africa, Asia, etc.

As mentioned earlier, you can stack the savings with the 2x promo they’re running through the end of the year if you book by January 31. I wouldn’t be surprised if they run some other kind of promo after the end of January but before this Amex Offer expires though, so if you miss out on the 2x offer, keep an eye out for other opportunities to earn bonus Bonvoy points.

Is there a way to split payment?
Even just between 2 cards, like one for the pay now and one to Pay later?

Thank you so much for the response.

when I go to make a booking I see that there is an option to pay in cash And when I click on it, it gives me the option to put in a card to pay half now and half later. Do you have experience with this? Have they not let you switch the credit card for the pay later portion?

Stephanie

Amazing how you produce the vast majority of the content on this site, despite being the part time one. Thanks for the analysis and heads up Stephen.
