Quick Thoughts
$199 for a three night stay in the eligible locations is a great deal, with the 30,000 Wyndham points you earn on top making it even better value.
The sticking point is the reason it’s such good value – you have to sit through a timeshare presentation lasting at least two hours. That isn’t going to be fun, especially because it takes time away from your vacation. If you’re someone who’s easily persuaded, avoid this promotion like the plague to ensure you don’t sign up for a timeshare/vacation rental agreement that will cost you a significant amount long term. However, if you can get your no face on, it could be worth considering.
The other timeshare deals posted by frequent miler have been great. I don’t really see the value in this one though
A bad deal, as these properties aren’t worth enough to endure the sales presentation. Now if they were willing to give you 3 nights in one of their nice $600/night Hawaiian condo resorts, I might change my tune.
I’m seeing regular reservations at some of these places for $59 a night.
I have taken advantage of Wyndham’s offer in the past. Unlike Hilton, IHG and Marriott timeshare vacation offers, Wyndham charges you an additional “resort fee” at the end of your stay.
oh that stinks, good to know about the resort fees. I have done the Hilton, IHG and Marriott and did not ever pay resort fees like you
